🎒✨ Last week, the #morencibulldogs elementary BIT team was hard at work on the PBIS Tier 2 training provided by the Lenawee Intermediate School District in preparation for the new school year!
📚🏫 They were eager to gain new knowledge and skills to support their students' positive behavior.
🌟💪 With the help of this training, they are equipped with strategies and tools to make a positive impact on students' lives.

The Track and Field Run-a-thon scheduled for this evening is postponed due to expected weather. The Run-a-thon has been rescheduled to next Wednesday, April 12, 2023. It will begin at 6:00 pm with gates opening for donations and warm at 5:30pm

Possible storms are expected to begin rolling through our area during school hours tomorrow, Wednesday, April 5th. We want to reassure families that Morenci Area Schools has a storm preparedness plan that includes running drills. All buildings and departments will monitor the situation and stay in close communication throughout the day. We will reevaluate our plans and make any adjustments as necessary. If there are any necessary changes to our dismissal plan, families will be notified by email, text, and alert calls. Please continue to monitor our social media pages, website and app for any updates.

Please join us for our Kindergarten Roundup Signing Day on April 13!
Bring your child in to officially sign as a Junior Bulldog. Each child will go home with Bulldog swag including a t-shirt, a squishy bulldog, and a book. To qualify for DK or kindergarten, a child must be 5-years-old on or before September 1, 2023, or by December 1, 2023, if a parent chooses to sign the waiver.
Parents should bring their child's birth certificate, proof of residency (utility bill, lease agreement, etc.), and proof of immunizations. An informal assessment of readiness skills and a health department hearing and vision exam will be administered at the kindergarten roundup.
