Morenci Track and Field is hosting the annual Runathon and BBQ tomorrow (Thursday) April 14th. All 2nd through 12th grade participants report to the infield of the track by 6:15 with pledge forms and money and to warm up. Running with start with Elementary students at 6:30! We will see you there!
Morenci's 4th Grade Bulldogs hosted a wax museum right before Spring Break. They did an amazing job with their presentations! Check out our highlight of their work!
Morenci Area Schools received notification this morning that the air samples from the asbestos abatement have passed! The elementary gym will be back in action on Tuesday morning.

Morenci Areas Schools delivered 103 Spring Break meal packs to students in our community through a partnership with i92 Ministries.
Attention Parents! Report cards were sent home for all Middle and High School Students Wednesday and will be sent with Elementary students tomorrow. Please remember that tomorrow, Friday, April 1st is a half day of school with dismissal at 11:30. Morning Tech students will be dismissed from their tech classes early so that they will be back in time to catch their bus rides home. PM Tech students are welcome to attend Tech classes if they are able to self transport.
School will resume Monday, April 11th
8th and 9th Grade students and parents are invited to attend the Morenci Branch Campus Middle College Enrollment Meeting in the Middle School Library Wednesday, April 13 at 7:00PM. Please check the website or Facebook pages for more details.
The district has contracted with T&R Total Lawn Care to apply herbicide to all athletic fields on Monday, April 4th. All areas will be marked for easy identification and MSDS sheets are available on our website, morencibulldogs.org.

Morenci Elementary music students have multiple opportunities to perform and play instruments.
🎵 Thanks to the Elizabeth Ruthruff Wilson Foundation and the Morenci Education Foundation grants, our Bulldog students now have the privilege of playing ukuleles!
🎵 All fifth grade students learn to play recorders and will perform at a recorder concert in the spring.
🎵 Students of all ages learn to keep a beat by playing instruments like boom whackers, lap drums and bells.
🎵 3rd-5th grade students are able to participate in our spring musical.
🎵 Elementary students will be invited to share their talents at our annual spring Talent Show.


Thank you to Mrs. Sarnac and Mrs. Starrs for teaching our 1st grade Bulldogs all about how to keep our teeth healthy!




Thank you to our PTO for providing funds for Jungle Island Zoo to visit our MES students this afternoon! All of your hard work from the Read-a-Thon really “paid” off! The animals were fun to see and made us even more “Wild About Reading!”


Our Scholastic Book Fair is going strong! Thank you to Miss Amanda for putting this together for our students! There are still two days left to shop if you haven’t yet. The Book Fair will also be open during conferences Thursday from 12:30-4:00 and 5:00-8:00.
