Two downtown street closures will be in place next week for the Morenci Back-to-School Bash and Summer Block Party.
Wednesday, August 12 – Back-to-School Bash
W. Main Street between Baker Street and North Street will be closed from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. for the Morenci Back-to-School Bash, which will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Traffic will be detoured from W. Main Street to Mill Street and W. Congress Street. Downtown parking lots will remain accessible.

Friday, August 14 – Summer Block Party
The full downtown detour will be in effect from 2:00 p.m. to midnight for the Summer Block Party.
Main Street will be closed from Summit Street to Baker Street, and North Street will be closed from Main Street to Locust Street.
Eastbound and westbound traffic will be routed using W. Congress Street, N. Summit Street, and Mill Street. Truck traffic will be routed along N. East Street and Coomer Street as the M-156 detour.
