Downtown rental venues are now available

Two downtown venues have been renovated and are now available for hall rental just in time for your holiday events and gatherings. 

The Gathering Place, owned by Jeff and Kelly Bell, is located at 129 W. Main St., sharing its entrance with their other business, Bell's Tax Service. The Gathering Place is approximately 800 square feet and has tables and chairs to seat up to 40 people. Accommodations include a standard kitchen stove, refrigerator, a big screen television with cable and DVD player, and a public restroom. The current rental rate is $50 per day. Morenci Event Center, formerly known as The Milestones, is located at 139 W. Main St. and is owned by Jeremy and Kristen Watkins.  Morenci Event Center is 3700 square feet with a maximum capacity of 125.  There are chairs to accommodate 100 guests and a limited number of long tables (round tables coming soon).  Kitchen amenities include a small fridge, microwave, sink, and plenty of counter space and electrical outlets.  The hall includes an 11'x7' stage, Bluetooth speaker with microphone, and two restrooms.  Rental cost is $100-$250, with a deposit of $50 or $100, depending on the intended use.  Non-profit charities, groups, or individuals in need of a space to hold a fundraiser can apply for a free rental on Tuesday-Thursday evenings.  Contact info@morencieventcenter.com to reserve Morenci Event Center, and follow on Facebook for announcements and updates.
