Medina and Seneca Township donates to Morenci EMS

The City of Morenci EMS would like to thank Medina and Seneca Townships for their generous donations toward the purchase of new heart monitors. Current heart monitors will be deemed out of service at the end of this year. Morenci EMS applied for an American Rescue Plan Act Grant through the Lenawee County Commission, however, were denied their request for funding. They then reached out to Medina and Seneca Townships, who donated $35,000 each toward the $80,000 cost. Morenci City Council voted to approve the final $10,000 needed to complete the purchase at their October 24th meeting. On behalf of the Morenci EMS and the community, we thank Medina and Seneca Townships for their commitment and support of emergency medical services.
