As warm weather approaches, residents are reminded to stay mindful of common ordinance concerns to help keep neighborhoods clean, safe, and welcoming. Here are some of the most frequent code violations and tips on how to avoid them:
Parking: Always park vehicles in driveways or designated streets, not in front yards or grass.
Bulky Items: Do not place furniture or other large items at the street except during scheduled bulky item pick-up (fourth Saturday in July).
Refuse Containers: Set trash carts at the curb no earlier than 7 AM the day before collection and bring them in by 7 AM the day after.
Property Cleanliness: Regularly remove accumulated garbage or debris from your property.
Vehicle Storage: Store only operable, properly registered vehicles on your property.
Overgrown Grass or Weeds: Keep lawns and vegetation trimmed to under 8 inches.
The City of Morenci thanks residents for their cooperation in keeping our neighborhoods safe, attractive, and enjoyable for everyone.
