NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
URBAN FORESTRY MANAGEMENT PLAN
The City of Morenci will conduct a public hearing on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM at 118 Orchard Street, Morenci, MI 49256 for the purpose of affording citizens an opportunity to review and submit comments on the proposed Urban Forestry Management Plan.
The Urban Forestry Management Plan establishes policies and practices for the management, maintenance, and long-term health of the City’s public tree canopy.
The public hearing is being held as part of the plan adoption process. All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comment. Written comments may also be submitted to City Hall prior to the hearing.
A copy of the proposed Urban Forestry Management Plan is available for public review at City Hall during regular business hours and on the City’s website here.
