This is a reminder from the City of Morenci Code & Compliance Officer regarding sidewalk snow removal.

Per City ordinance Sec. 18-47, property owners and occupants are responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks adjoining their property:
• Snow that falls or drifts overnight must be cleared by 12:00 noon the same day
• Snow that falls or accumulates during the day must be cleared by 12:00 noon the following day

Keeping sidewalks clear helps ensure safe passage for pedestrians and prevents slips and falls. Thank you for doing your part to keep Morenci safe and accessible for everyone.
