The Morenci Fall Fest, hosted by the Downtown Development Authority, is back for its fourth year and expanding to fill more of downtown than ever before. On Saturday, October 4, from 4 to 11 PM, Main Street will come alive with music, food, shopping, and activities for all ages. Admission is free, making it the perfect way to celebrate the season with friends, family, and neighbors.
This year’s event will stretch across all of Main Street from Summit to Baker and along North Street from Main to West Locust. From 4 to 7 PM, downtown will be filled with family-friendly fun, including a petting farm, hayrides, face painting, archery, a caricature artist, and a photo booth—all at no cost. Local merchants, businesses, and non-profits will line the streets with seasonal shopping and activities for kids, giving the whole community a chance to join in.
The celebration begins with an art reveal at Alley 221 at 4 PM, followed by DJ Van Damage on the Main Stage at 4:30 PM. At 6:30 PM, the Rex Theater will feature a hard rock concert with Deep Coiler and opening acts ($15 admission). Closing out the night at 8 PM, Chase VanBrandt and the Dive Bar All-Stars will headline a free outdoor concert on the Main Stage.
Food will be plentiful, with the Morenci Fire Department serving a BBQ chicken dinner, North Street Pub offering pulled pork and snacks, Morenci Eagles featuring hot dogs, chili, and bean soup, and Pizza Box selling pizza by the slice. Food trucks will also join the lineup, including El Poquito Chapulin with Mexican favorites and Got Ears? with sweet treats. The Morenci Social District will be open until 11 PM, with beverages available in designated cups from North Street Pub and Morenci Eagles.
Vendor registration is open through September 15, with booth space free for community organizations and $25 for merchants offering homemade, handmade, or homegrown goods. Forms are available at Morenci City Hall or online here.
