A public hearing has been scheduled on Monday, May 12, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at the regular council meeting at the Morenci City Offices, 118 Orchard Street, for the purpose of a Truth in Taxation Public Hearing that will discuss adoption of the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Budget and the levying of a millage rate of 15.000 mills (Headline Rollback will be applied) to support General Fund operations for the City of Morenci during the Fiscal Year 2025-2026.
Copies of the proposed budget are now available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Morenci City Offices, 118 Orchard Street. Public comments, oral or written, are welcome at the hearing.
