CITY OF MORENCI PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice of Public Hearing
A public hearing has been scheduled Monday, May 8, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at the regular City Council meeting at Morenci City Hall, located at 118 Orchard Street., Morenci, MI 49256 for the purpose of a Truth in Taxation Public Hearing that will discuss adoption of the Fiscal Year 2023 – 2024 Budget and the levying of a millage rate of 15.000 mills (Headline Rollback will be applied) to support General Fund operations for the City of Morenci during the Fiscal Year 2023 – 2024.
Copies of the proposed budget are now available for public inspection during regular business hours at Morenci City Hall, 118 Orchard Street., Morenci, MI 49256. Public comments, oral or written, are welcome at the hearing.
