The City of Morenci is proud to offer the opportunity to honor a Veteran or current military service member with a customized 18x36" light pole banner.
Banners will be displayed on Main St. and North St. in Downtown Morenci for Memorial Day, throughout the summer, and for Veteran's Day. At the end of the year, banners will be returned to families as a keepsake.
Banners are $150 each, and a portion of the proceeds will support the Morenci American Legion.
Applications are available at City Hall and on our website here. Applications, along with payment, in the form of cash or check (payable to American Legion Post 368), are accepted at City Hall. The deadline to submit is Thursday, April 6, however only 30 spaces are available, so don't delay.
