The Morenci Police Department
The Morenci Police Department is a municipal law enforcement agency that is responsible for providing police services to its citizens residing within the corporate limits of Morenci and those visiting and working in the community.
The Police Department employs a full-time Police Chief, two full-time officers, and part-time officers as needed to provide 24 hour a day / seven (7) days a week police coverage. In large police agencies, community policing is a separate, defined division. However, here in Morenci, we proudly serve our community with no defined community policing policy. Community policing is policing, we see no difference. The Police Department and the community are one. It is our goal to provide protection to our community through superior service. That means we know the citizens we serve, and they know us, making for great a positive relationship.
In addition to investigations and emergency response services, the Police Department provides vacation property checks. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
